It was a sad day for Barbara Agatstein, owner and CEO of Wee Ones, Inc. when her daughter, Betsy, at the age of 18, stopped wearing bows in her hair. Betsy had been just three years old when Barbara started her company, Wee Ones, making bows for Betsy and local retailers in the family's extra bedroom. Today, Wee Ones is the premier supplier of little girls' hair accessories, recognized year after year for its excellence in design. Wee Ones accessories can be found in boutiques and department stores around the country. In today's world, little girls start refusing to wear hair bows long before their eighteenth birthdays. Understanding that, the Wee Ones team developed a new line, deidra & kiki, geared towards the more fashion forward youths of today. In the 1990's, the children's accessories market changed and the "Tween" emerged as one of its most powerful forces. Wee Ones realized that it had a great opportunity to help its retailers capture some Tween dollars. Barb, having been in the girls' accessories business for over twenty years at that point, had the taste level and the expertise necessary to offer her loyal Wee Ones retailers more trendy and sophisticated styles designed to appeal to the savvy Tween customer. Deidra & kiki provides retailers with tasteful Tween-oriented accessories at competitive prices. Over the years, the deidra & kiki team has realized the importance of getting trendy, Tween product to the market quickly. Just as soon as a trend becomes a trend, it becomes not a trend. This new deidra & kiki web site will enable retailers to order product just as soon as it hits the deidra & kiki warehouse, so they will not miss a trick and neither will their customers!
